We maintain compulsory professional indemnity insurance of at least £3 million, each and every claim.  The name of our primary layer insurer for the current policy period (1 October 2013 to 30 September 2014) is Charteris Insurance UK Limited. Complaints

If at any time you would like to discuss with us how our service to you could be improved or if you are dissatisfied with the service you are receiving or a bill you have received, please let us know by contacting the partner dealing with your matter or the firm’s complaints partner, Graham Davies. We shall look at any complaint carefully and promptly and do all we can to explain the position to you in any event within 8 weeks and will supply you with our complaints procedure leaflet upon receipt of a complaint from you (or upon receiving a request from you for a copy). If we have given you less than satisfactory service, we shall try to do everything reasonable to put it right.

In the event of your not being satisfied by our response, you may refer the matter to the Legal Ombudsman (“LeO”), but you must do so within six months of your last contact from us, or within 12 months of the thing being complained about.  Please note that only copies of documents should be sent to the LeO office to avoid any documentation being lost or destroyed.
